1. Because this person will be the central hub in the agency (most things start with this position) we need someone who can multi-task, has a great phone voice and doesn't get rattled.
2. We need someone who is good with basic accounting functions as this person will be responsible for coordinating commission on a monthly basis.
3. Having an insurance P&C license is a huge plus as the position calls for being the back up to our Personal Lines Specialist.
4. Having a background in agency management systems like AMS or Applied (preferably AMS) is also going to be a real benefit as we are about to convert from Applied to AMS.
We are a 9 year old agency, and we are proud of the fact that our revenue has increased every year, despite some of the worst economic conditions in 50 years.
